Had the most beautiful meal here with family. The fish and dessert were both exquisite. Staff very friendly and prompt service. Lovely atmosphere. Great value for the quality of food on offer. Highly recommended and we will all return.

Great spot. We’ve only been for brunch so far (haven’t tried dinner yet) but everything’s been spot on. Drinks are great — coffee, chai latte and hot chocolate were all really good. Food was just as nice; we’ve tried the Christmas sandwich today, also have tried the Irish breakfast, guac toast and the pulled pork bap and loved them all.

Staff are lovely, really attentive and accommodating. It’s dog friendly, prices are good, and we’ve already brought a few friends and family here to try it out. Would definitely recommend.

i loved the broccoli soup and hot chocolate they were amazing and the beef was great my partner loved it i’d love to try the pulled pork one day as it was sold out last time :)

Root is an absolute gem in the heart of Skerries town. We’ve been multiple times for breakfast, lunch and dinner too- every time the food has been stellar. The Turkish Eggs and Mushroom Toast are big favourites of ours. Great coffee complements it all so nicely too in the most cozy setting. The ambience makes it perfect for a cozy brunch or an intimate dinner with friends. Cannot recommend enough.
